Cat Island Update
We have heard some positive and hopeful updates regarding the current situation of the “Cat Island” (Tashiro Island) in Japan. A photo that was taken by NASA on March 12th shows Cat Island above water level.

In some of the first comforting news of the day from Japan comes word that Maru the cat is safe and ok following the 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast yesterday afternoon (Japan local time).
